Susan was moved out of the ICU to a regular private room yesterday evening. She is doing great. Unlike before, she is not on cardiac monitor (her echo showed that her “ticker is doing great” –Susan’s words). Yesterday, she had lots of energy. She beat me in a round of Ticket to Ride (and it was not a sympathy loss on my end), and wasn’t even tired when we left for the night. One of her pulmonologists even said she might be able to go home on Monday.
She is on a new respiratory therapy, which will be explained in a later post, as it deserves the accompanying video footage that we took specifically for the blog.
